We are pleased to announce the start of the Three Seas Art Festival in Kraków, beginning today, November 21, in partnership with AICA. The first phase of the festival includes a short residency for curators, which will run until Sunday, with the exhibition openings scheduled for May.
This initiative emerged from the 55th AICA International Congress, held last year in Kraków, in collaboration with the Three Seas Art Foundation, KEN University, the City of Kraków, and the Jagiellonian University. The Congress sparked the creation of a dynamic working group, serving as a model of cross-border cooperation and mutual understanding across political, geographical, ethnic, economic, and religious lines. At AICA International, we are dedicated to supporting projects like this, which align with our mission to foster professional relationships and artistic exchange across all boundaries.
Among the participants in this project are: Kata Balazs-Miklos (AICA Hungary), Elli Leventaki (AICA Hellas), Kristian Handberg (AICA Denmark), Richard Gregor (AICA Slovakia), Melike Bayik (AICA Turkey), and Vera Mlechevska (AICA Bulgaria).
