STATUTES AND REGULATIONS COMMITTEE
Christian Chambert (Chair, Sweden), Lisbeth Rebollo Gonçalves (ex officino, Brazil), Marjorie Allthorphe-Guyton (UK), Marja-Terttu Kivirinta (Finland), Henry Meyric Hughes (UK), Marc Partouche (France), Mathilde Roman (France).
The President Marek Bartelik initiated the Committee for Statutes and Regulations at the AICA Congress in Slovakia during the autumn 2013. The Committee is temporary with no specific terms of office. The members are appointed by the President and not by the General Assembly, which is the case with the standing Committees. The Chair of the Committee has consequently no voting rights in the Board.
The purpose of the Committee is to propose to the Board and the General Assembly revised Statutes and Regulations which are transparent and adequate for the current work of the Association. Included in the Committee’s goal is the presentation of consistent terminology and to recommend new Financial Standing Instructions, which will be linked to the Regulations. The Sub-Committee collaborates with other Committees when it is appropriate.
