AICA podcast with Jean Bundy

December 19, 2024

The AICA Podcast, created and hosted by Mihaela Ion, returns with its fourth episode, featuring Jean Bundy, Editor of AICA/E-MAG, Chair of AICA’s ‘Incentive Prize for Young Art Critics,’ and an AICA Vice President.

In this episode, Jean Bundy explores the AICA E-MAG project, discussing its origins, the vision behind it, and its significance in contemporary art communication. She provides insights into the publication process, including design, content curation, and engaging with the art community.

The episode also highlights AICA’s ‘Incentive Prize for Young Art Critics,’ with Jean sharing fresh and insightful updates. This initiative encourages young and emerging art critics to address underrepresented topics and regions in the arts. By fostering innovative critical perspectives and facilitating the global exchange of contemporary ideas and writing, the prize enriches art discourse and offers a platform for new voices. It not only honors exceptional talent but also fosters dialogue within the art community, increasing the visibility of young critics on an international scale.
