This webinar gives us the opportunity to approach the critical reflection of Ticio Escobar, the important Latin American theoretician and art critic awarded by Aica in 2011, author of the first book in the Art Critics of the World Series, La Invención de la Distancia (The Invention of Distance). We will follow the construction of his thought up to his recent book Aura Latente (Latent Aura).

Este seminario web nos da la oportunidad de seguir la reflexión crítica del teórico y crítico de arte latinoamericano, Ticio Escobar, quien recibió el Premio de Distinción de la Asociación Internacional de Críticos de Arte – AICA, en 2011. Su libro La Invención de la Distancia fue el primer que se publicó en la Serie Art Critics of the World de AICA. En este encuentro con Ticio Escobar se hablara de dos momentos de reflexión crítica en su obra - una confrontación entre La Invención de la Distancia y Aura Latente, su más reciente publicación.
